Sahar Massoumi is a curator and gallerist with a clear focus on emerging contemporary art. After completing her law degree, she turned to the art world and has since built an international career over the past eight years. Having restructured and founded two galleries, she now leads the MASSOUMI Gallery in Hamburg, one of the city’s largest, and will open a second space in Berlin in October 2025.

The MASSOUMI Gallery showcases multidisciplinary contemporary art, bringing together painting, sculpture, installation and performance to create a dialogue between diverse artistic forms.

Massoumi’s curatorial approach centers on the emerging artist market, supporting new voices and fostering their visibility across the global art scene. She has presented artists at international fairs including Miami, London, Seoul and Toronto.

As one of the few young female gallerists in Hamburg, she represents a new generation, focused, forward-thinking and committed to shaping the future of contemporary art.
